I do love the look of an old lid. I’ve been searching for one lately, choosing between the Davida’s and Bell helmets. There is something evocative about some of these old helmets, with their retro graphics and lack of tribal and splashy designs. It is commonly known that open face helmets are not as safe as the full faced but I’m hoping with the addition of a screen my face will at least have some protection!

Loving the new helmet designs by Old School Helmets. They are offering a range of custom designs that mimic the flat matte distressed look.
Came across this site called Old School Helments. They take new retro helmets and create custom pinstripe and leaf designs to the customer’s liking. Great creations and actually affordable. I love it when people start something out of their passion rather than a marketing exercise.
