Life, death, rebirth – if we’re honest, these are the things that interests us about retro bikes. The Autumn Epitaph bike certainly embraces a Frankenstein aesthetic with hand stitched leather trimmings and a questionable four low-profile wheel setup. Though I don’t normally post about bicycles on this blog this one certainly connects strongly with the custom motorbike scene, with the inverted handle bars, which I am quite sure are clubman handlebars usually gracing various cafe-racers. This bicycle smoulders with dark cheeky humour and is limited to only a 12 model run. Anyway, judge for yourself if this is art or a monstrosity. Either way, I’m glad there are people out there brave and crazy enough to build things like these.
